Honoring the Fallen

The traditional Soldier's Cross depicts the boots, weapon and helmet of the fallen. Mount America has also developed a Sailor's Cross to remember the Naval Special Warfare groups as well.

Many of these have been placed around the country to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. It is our hope that these memorials become a gathering place for patriotic events in the community and of reflection on the cost of freedom.

The Gold Star symbol originated in 1918 and continues to be used to this day. The Gold Star Mothers plaques, now updated to be more inclusive as Gold Star Families, have been placed around the country to recognize those with a family member who has given their life for the Nation.
